Yes. Coaching is available in both English and Mandarin. As a native Mandarin speaker, full technical coaching and feedback can be delivered fluently in either language.
Absolutely. Archery has no age ceiling, and adults often progress quickly because they bring focus and discipline that younger beginners are still developing. Our A1 Beginner class and private lessons are both designed with first-timers in mind — no prior experience required.
Generally, we recommend age 8 as a starting point due to safety considerations. However, younger children may participate if they can safely operate a bow, follow instructions, and adhere to range safety protocols — all under direct adult supervision.
No. All group classes and private lessons include equipment rental. You just need to show up.
Group classes do not offer trial sessions. If you'd like to get a feel for the sport first, both ranges offer walk-in archery experiences — a great way to try before you commit. If you prefer not to sign up for a full four-week course right away, private lessons are available on a per-session basis, with 1v1 or 1v2 options for a more focused learning and to fit your schedule.
It depends on how you look at it. Group classes are structured for up to six students, which means coaching time is shared. In a private lesson, the coach's full attention is on you — or split between just two students in a 1v2 session. The amount of personalized feedback and instruction you receive per hour is significantly higher, which often means faster progress. For those serious about improving efficiently, private lessons offer better value than the price difference might suggest.
Yes. Private lessons are available for archers at any level — from those who have completed a beginner course to competitive athletes looking to refine their technique. Coaching is available for Barebow and Olympic Recurve styles. Currently Advance Compound coaching is not currently offered.
Yes, video analysis is only available in private lessons. For ongoing training, it is incorporated periodically to track progress and correct form over time.
Video analysis involves recording your shooting form from multiple angles and reviewing the footage frame-by-frame to identify technical issues that are difficult to detect in real time — providing objective feedback that accelerates improvement more effectively than verbal coaching alone.
Whether you're looking for a short-term skill boost or a long-term training commitment, the best starting point is a private lesson. During the session, we'll assess your current level, discuss your goals, and put together a training plan and schedule that works for you.
Private lesson packages are available for those committed to ongoing training — the more sessions you book, the better the value. Contact either archery range directly for discount package information.
